Weekend Fun...
This weekend, one of my very good friends Satish dropped in. Its long time we spent some time together, as I was busy for quite some time now, and same is the case with him. We used to catch up very frequently when I was in Infosys. He used to stay near my place and we used to catch up in the weekends. We were a group of 5ive. Myself, Satish, Sharath(He is just back from Australia), Vineel(This lucky mascot is still having fun in Switzerland) and Ashok. We used to freak out till it was late in the night. (If I go into those details it will be huge. So, I can write abt that in a different blog sometime later).
In the last 1yr when I was in hyderabad, I used to have loads of fun. I used to hang out with my roomies, and with Anil (we call him chikki). Actually, chikki is my friend Arvind's friend. But now, I can say he calls me more number of times than he calls Arvind. We used to have a blast every weekend. Every Monday morning, I used to be tired and exhausted. Same was the case not once or twice, but for one complete year. I thought I will miss all the fun I had in Hyderabad, when I moved to Bangalore couple of months back. But internally, I know that it can never happen. I am such a type of a guy, who tends to make friends very easily. So, I never had any problem when I moved to a new apartment with 5 more new guyz in Hyderabad. I am not having any problem with my roomies now either. So, we are having good time even in the new house in Bangalore. This morning, my colleague Surabhi asked me "Howz your weekend". Then I said "It was fine. I had fun". But when I thought abt it, I realized that I am having fun each and every weekend. I don’t remember at least one scenario, when somebody asked me how my weekend was, and me telling them it didn't go well.
But these days, I am thinking of making my weekends more productive. I mean, yeah, catching up with a movie or dinner in new Chinese restaurant is ok. But, at the same time, I want to make Saturdays and Sundays more productive. I already have 3 books with me which I am supposed to read, and it goes unsaid that I have to read a lot in CRM. So, let’s see how far I can stick to this.
I am going to GOA starting tomorrow. I will be there for 5 days. I was really looking forward for a good break, as our training for 2 months+ was quite hectic and this tour came up just about in the right time. So, me having loads of fun is guaranteed for one more week. I will update with those details when I am back.
